Great vid. I just changed the pads and the discs. Very informative. I didnt realize I shouldnt use copper grease for these.

What I would add is about the grub screw that holds the disc onto the hub. These are buggers for seizure or rounding off. This can be alleviated by a few deft blows with a hammer onto the disc face before trying to undo them. It’s worth doing as they are sturdy little things that take some serious drilling out if they do round off.... Trust me.

Should the bolt on the pad only be hand tightened?

Do you have to do the bit with the cable before, and the bleeding after? Never done this when changing pads and discs, but do hang up the caliper so it doesnt damage the brake hose...

Thanks for the video, very helpful. I keep getting stones stuck between the brake disc and the cover behind it, the noise it makes is terrible and the stones will not come out. Can these covers be removed, I noticed you don't have them on yours?

For the 314 MM 2.8 Aero (front brakes), do you have to remove carrier bracket to put on a new rotor? Would like to avoid removing it if possible.

i bought Textar Ceratec to use on caliper pins after watching this video but i am a bit worried now as it says to avoid lubricating any rubber parts ???

Cyd, I've had my 2005 Aero for nearly 5 years and its had 2 front nearside calliper's in that time, along with new pads and discs (302mm discs on mine), for some reason the discs always end up warmed as i always seem to have a sticking nearside calliper even though I have em replaced and the brakes cleaned up with new pads and discs etc, any idea what else can be causing this?, I dont do big miles lucky if I've done 20k in the last 5 years! Your video's are much appreciated
