That's GREAT-- thank you.. I just installed LMDE 5 and LOVE It-- and now that there are tons of themes etc. and you show me this-- I can make it anything I want- and STILL have the stabiltiy of debian- and NO UBUNTU bs to deal with... THANKS AGAIN.

I had to actually look this up, i am surprised this is not widely known or talked about in the Linux Comm. Or at least never see or randomly come around topics like this. Most of the time users Distro hop because of Environments. I have stuck with Mint but now at LMDE 5, if it is as easy as you shown, then hell's yeah. I can switch between KDE and Cinnamon and try out Budgie.

dooing this affects the usage ono ram or cpu? or its just there on storage waiting to be used??? because if it's the lastest then its kinda awesome, instead of installing all of those and testing i can just yep do this

yeah I just have a black desktop environment with the option to login and type and everything but no apps to open and sudo tasksel doesn't open anything
