Agile transformations are tough and demand a significant change in the way individuals think, respond, and act, which makes them even more difficult.

For this reason, organizations and people involved in Agile transformations must strive to properly understand the difference between a scrum master and an agile coach.

Question is, can a same person act as both Scrum master and Agile Coach? In many job descriptions, they ask Scrum master and Agile Coach to be a single person.

I hear your argument, but then if that be the case - what do we have different level of Scrum Masters? i.e. Junior Scrum Master, Scrum Master, Snr Scrum Master & Lead Scrum Scrum & in the same organisation have Agile Coach Snr Agile Coach & Lead Agile Coach?
