Jnv Lest 2025 Notification | JNVST Admission 2025 | Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released a notification inviting online applications for the Lateral Entry Test (LEST) for admissions to fill vacant seats in the 9th and 11th grades for the 2025–26 academic year. The admissions will be based on the entrance examination, and seats will be allotted accordingly.

Application Process:
Applications can be submitted online.

Application Deadline:
The deadline for submission is October 30, 2024.

Entrance Exam Date:
The exam will be held on February 8, 2025.

Eligibility:

For 9th-grade admissions:
Only students who are studying in the 8th grade during the 2024–25 academic year are eligible.
They must belong to the local district.
They must have been born between May 1, 2010, and July 31, 2012.

For 11th-grade admissions:
Only students who are studying in the 10th grade during the 2024–25 academic year are eligible.
They must belong to the local district.
They must have been born between June 1, 2008, and July 31, 2010.

Exam Duration:
The duration of the JNVST admission test 2025 will be two hours and thirty minutes, with an additional 50 minutes provided for differently-abled students. The test consists of 100 objective-type questions.

9th-Grade Selection Exam Pattern:
The exam will be for 100 marks and will include the following subjects:
English: 15 questions
Hindi: 15 questions
Mathematics: 35 questions
General Science: 35 questions
The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.

11th-Grade Selection Exam Pattern:
Questions will be asked from the following subjects:
English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Mental Ability Each subject will have 20 questions for 20 marks. The total duration of the exam will be two hours and thirty minutes. The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.
