Love it! @sarah-n-tuned is building a '73 Celica with a 2UZ. It's super cool to see these cars finally get their due and that the ladies are building them, even better!

I had a 77 Black on Black Celica GT liftback and it would easily cruise at 90MPH -- I crossed the entire state of Indiana one time on rt 70 with it and when I checked the MPG I was making in the low-to-mid 20s at that speed somehow. Car was amazing. Didn't sound a thing like this though :)

The Toyota 4.7L V8 is a perfect engine swap for another Toyota. Nice job 👍🏻

ITB's sounds amazing on the 1U. Few semi affordable kits out there.

Never heard of these coming with a factory rollbar before. My dad used to lease a new one every year back then too. I guess you learn something new everyday.

I had a 77 Celica back in the 90s, and the stock one could do 100mph. Got a few tickets in the thing, I think it had to do something with it being Yellow. That was my favorite car, I miss it.

Wow, very nice Celica. I had a 1977 Celica but the hair cracked on my 21st birthday. I really miss that car.

I have a 20 r in my 80 sun chaser. I have been working on getting it to run fast, I'm getting it there. Rebuilt, bored over thirty, torque cam, Lc Engineering distributer, spiral cut one inch spacer, weber carb, long tube header, and 2 1/4 inch exhaust. It's coming to life I tell ya, it's no 1uz, but hey, I do what I can.😁

I own a 97 sx liftback manual 206000kms st204r
And boy she needed some work, oil flush/change + oil filter, coolant, brake fluid, power steering, air filter, engine bay wipe down. New owner new responsibility, and so im getting it ready for registration after having a look at it myself! Always do some work on used cars before taking it in for inspections and what not, that way y'all know what's up? Stay safe.
