I had failed to get Andy working before this but you spurred me to trying again (stupidly I hadn't turned on virtualisation on my Vaio). Now its working perfectly with much lower CPU usage than I saw with Bluestacks. Thanks very much. Liked. Keep 'em coming.

when i open andy the screen is black and white when it has finished it's loading, can somebody help???

There are two things I absolutely require in an Android Emulator
1. Motion Control (things like shake and all round motion manipulation)
2.Multiple Touch (Blue stacks can emulate a second touch using CTRL+Mouse wheel to pinch but does not have shake control whereas Genymotion has a key combo CTRL+F11 which simulates a shake but no other motion control is available.

I haven't tried it yet, but Andy looks to be exactly what I've been looking for.  I have a Surface Pro 3 because Windows 8.1 is just a better OS for productivity and getting work done especially if you need programs like Matlab that aren't on Android.  However, Android is better for lighthearted use as it's ecosystem is way better than the Windows Metro ecosystem, and Android is better touch optimized than the Windows desktop.

My dream OS for a tablet would be the Windows Desktop+Android instead of Windows Metro.  Andy doesn't get rid of Windows Metro, but it does look like it basically allows you to turn your Windows tablet into an Android tablet and that's good enough.

the other problem with bluestacks is, it runs 6 freakin' process (estimated memory usage is 164k) even if u dont open bluestacks player

I just want you guys to know that Bluestacks CAN run third party launchers and can be rooted... But even so, Andy FTW.

I just installed blue stacks and clash of clans but in clash of clans oll of the models are black and I can't tell what I'm doing plz help

Bluestacks is not essentially free, if they pretty much force a 2$ a month charge upon you, or they force the download of a group of apps...Since we all should have good reason for not desiring to download apps that we don't specifically want or trust, bluestacks is far from free...With this being said, it is excepted that upon crashing the gamepop app there should be no further requests to make these purchases or downloads, yet some reason I doubt this. On the bluestacks site, it is not entirely clear up front that there is this hidden charge, or the forcing of downloads...

I have yet to try Andy, but the word "Free" on their site has got me excited.

Last year BlueStacks changed it so that if you want to use their emulator you either have to pay MONTHLY for it or download their new 'spotlighted' apps into your emulator EVERY couple of hours. I shit you not; oh how far the king of emulators has fallen! :/
