Wisconsin Trout Fishing - 5/5/2019

Well, opening weekend 2019 is in the books. A much better bite here with 35-40 browns and brookies to hand. Ran into three different anglers and my humanity is restored. A nice guy fishing a landlocked steel bridge, a family fishing, and a guy and his kid ready to fish at the out bridge. All nice and happy people! Small fish were the deal today. Browns from 7-13" and brookies at about 8-10". If you look closely you will see a big brown (20+) cross the river from bank to bank, but he wasn't feeding. Another beautiful weather day and a great day to fish! Happy Fishing!!

What streams should I start trying to fish I live about 20 minutes away from Madison, wanted to try trout fishing with either a spinner or I have been fly fishing for a bit now. Any place you know would be good for beginners into this fishing

I'm from Wisconsin and haven't been much of a trout angler mainly because i don't know where to fish for them and have anyone to teach me/go with. If you know of a decent spot and would like to take me out anywhere in Wisconsin let me know! don't be shy I'm a nice guy! lol

Morning From EC Trout Fishing, how did you do with the Sasquatch any Steelies? hit a small stream in Barron Co. My thought is the Otter Family I Encountered has down a lot of damage to the Brooke Trout.
