Cooking for My Girlfriends’ Family in Japan

In this video, I cook an entire Thanksgiving meal for my girlfriends’ family as I talk about my thoughts on the holiday season. After I found out they have never experienced a Thanksgiving, I knew I had to share a piece of my American culture with them. If I said I wasn’t excited to eat a lot, I’d be lying. I have so many things to be thankful for but I'll just say two..
I'm thankful that my family and relatives are all awesome and pretty close to me.
And I'm thankful I have a place to stay with a warm bed and food!

I know I'm late, but I grew up in Plymouth, MA where the first "American" Thanksgiving traditions were started. I am very grateful to have grown up there and had the Thanksgiving experiences I've had. After I traveled everywhere in my 20s, I'm in my mid 30s and now settled 20 minutes away from Plymouth. I'm so grateful to have a stable home, a stable job that I love, even if the pay sucks. I might whine and complain about getting older, check my hair daily in case of a gray hair, study my face every day for signs of wrinkles.... but I am so grateful to be 34. So many of my friends never got that chance. And I'm happy YouTube and the internet in general exists so that I can watch stuff like this and experience things and places I wouldn't have been able to otherwise
