Показать описание
In this Excel Function Explained video series, I am going to explain, how to use MAXIFS function in excel. Excel MAXIFS function is a built-in excel function to find out the largest or the maximum value in a data range based on several criteria or conditions in excel. Using MAXIFS function, you’ll be able to extract the largest value from a selected range and place it on a different cell. Remember MAXIFS function doesn’t consider Logical value and text as input.
Let’s learn how to use MAXIFS formula in excel.
The Function looks like this = MAXIFS (MAX Range, Criteria Range1, Criteria1,….)
The MAXIFS function has Three arguments or parameters.
1. MAX Range: This is the data range from where MAXIFS will Find the largest number.
2. Criteria Range 1: In this parameter, we need to select the cells from which we need to specify the first criteria. This is the first criteria range and you can add several criteria like this one.
3. Criteria 1: This is where you specify the condition based on which
MAXIFS function will return the largest value.
This is how we use MAXIFS in excel. Remember, using MAXIFS function in excel you actually tell excel formula to return the largest value from a data range based on the criteria you specify.
