In the years to come, I think Babylon might be regarded as Damien Chazelle's cult masterpiece, and the ending scene with Diego Calva's Manny captures what it means to love film. Babylon is a 2022 American epic period comedy drama film written and directed by Damien Chazelle (Whiplash, La La Land & First Man). The film features an ensemble cast that includes Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Jean Smart, Jovan Adepo, and Li Jun Li. Its plot chronicles the rise and fall of multiple characters during Hollywood's transition from silent to sound films in the late 1920s.

I love Damien Chazelle's Babylon and I think the ending of the film really delivers a great message about cinema, one that's passionate, but one that's also quite cynical. It dissects the best and worst of Hollywood in a way that I didn't expect from the filmmaker. But if you've seen Babylon what we're your thoughts on the film and did you like it as much as I did.

Saw it on Saturday night with a group of friends not knowing what to expect but we all absolutely loved it. I think it’s going to be hard to top this for the years best for me. The ending montage of cinema was incredible.

Your video essay makes me wanna go watch Babylon again and I've seen it thrice already lol! Really solid work! The best way to describe Babylon is that it's like Once Upon A Time in Hollywood meets The Wolf of Wall Street meets The Great Gatsby meets Boogie Nights! A truly insane film that needs to be seen to be believed! 💯

Tried watching last night but it was just too depraved, not my kinda vibe. I loved Margot Robbie in Amsterdam, though! That's one underrated film
