It took me 4-6 years to learn that I wanted to produce EDM. I produced a few different genres. Then, it took me another 2 years to realize that everyone else was using Serum, while I was using Alchemy/Native Instruments Synths. The versatility and sound of that plugin is unmatched. It also took me 2 years to realize that big name EDM producers were using sampled drums to save time. It took me about 4 years to learn how to mix, and I'm still working on it. I've stepped away from producing almost 6 times already, but keep coming back.

My point is that for some EDM producers it takes a very long time to get the information they need to make their music sound like the pros. Everyone's journey is different. For some it comes easy because they have access to that information early on.

This is the best tutorial I have seen in a very long time. Moonboy gave away a lot of good secrets here. Thank you, and I can't wait to watch your other tutorials brotha!

I Deadmau5 and his music! He's kilometers away my favorite house producer, and me watching his Master class did genuinely help me a lot! In any case, I am excited to see what everyone will come up with for this contest for Matrix! Even if I don't win, I'm loving what I've made so far, and it has a lot of personal significance to me, so I can't wait to finally reveal it! It will again tie in to the Smash Bros digital comic that I'm working on! 😊
