Continental Conversations: Derrida, 'Of Grammatology' - Oxford Philosophy Society

Continental Conversations is a biweekly student ran lecture series on Post-Kantian philosophy. During the academic year of 2023-24, a majority of these lectures were filmed, to now be made available to the public.
This Continental Conversation is given by Jake Rubenstein, an undergraduate student from Tufts University, where he studies international relations and chinese. During the year 2023-24, Jake was a visiting student at Pembroke College, Oxford, where he studied philosophy and politics. Here, he introduces Jacques Derrida, in particular Derrida's innovative insights in "Of Grammatology".
Because of the absence of Post-Kantian philosophy in the undergraduate syllabus at Oxford, Continental Conversations was made by the Oxford Philosophy Society to fill in this lacuna. Sebastian Torcassi is the founder of Continental Conversations and organiser for the 2023-24 academic year.
