I'm glad I found your videos! I think beating discouragement is one of the hardest things to do. Some days I have a good stream, and then others it's not. Just remembering to go at a steady pace helps me not burn out and learn more.

I know this video is old but I would just like to say before I pressed play I had no energy, I wasn't sure of myself, and I contemplated quitting, but at the end of the video all my energy came back and my eyes widened.

Thank you for this video. I was able to regain perspective after watching it. I was starting to get discouraged as I have managed to gain 50 community members in 30 days and have seen others hit 5k in the same time but you're right I am different creator and my community will grow at its own pace.

Here's a short & relatively straightforward question - How slow is slow enough? How long is long enough?
How much time of working hard and not achieving whatever the reason for streaming is, until we should say "maybe I don't have what it takes" and hang our gloves? A year? 2 years? 3? 5?
