We have a fantastic weekend of fall weather ahead for the Gulf Coast. The mornings will be cool and clear while the afternoons will be warm and sunny. Hotter temperatures are on the way Monday ahead of a cold front. Highs will be around 90 degrees then, but after the front passes on Tuesday, highs will drop into and stay in the 70s.

SUNDAY:
Sunday morning will be nice and cool for many along the Gulf Coast once again. However, the afternoon will definitely be warmer—middle and upper 80s can be expected. The evening should still be rather nice with temperatures getting into the 70s after sunset.

NEXT WEEK:
On Monday, temperatures will climb to around 90° ahead of a cold front that will pass on Tuesday. The front will move through on Tuesday, with cooler and drier air slowly filtering in through the afternoon, evening, and nighttime hours.

Temperatures in the following days will be much cooler. Morning temps will be in the 50s and even 40s, while highs will be in the 70s.

Nicholas Herboso is the newest member of the FOX10 StormTracker Team. He comes to FOX10 from the University of South Alabama, where he studied broadcast meteorology and minored in music. Nicholas is a native of Fairhope, AL, and is proud to call the Gulf Coast home. He was motivated to pursue a career in weather broadcasting after living through multiple hurricanes on the Gulf Coast and watching the coverage from local meteorologists like John Edd Thompson, especially after watching their coverage of the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons. Past extreme weather events got Nicholas interested in weather early on. For him, weather is a passion that he is excited to share with viewers.
