Carrying on with the "Lockdown Equipment Series", here is my preferred way to mark my double enders.

The videos are not intended to teach, but to show some things I do to my equipment and how I explain them to divers in training.

I shot and narrated the video in real time to try and show that it is fairly quick and simple – so no reason not to tidy up your equipment or add some colour these days :-)

I’ve had good success and have found it MUCH easier to do when placing one end of the double-ender in a vise mounted on a bench.

Great video Vas! I think I watched the same ISE video when I did mine! I think it actually helped to grip the bolt snaps (above water) with dry gloves when diving in freezing conditions (-8°c air, 4°c water).

I have seen this done before but have not tried it yet. You never had an issue with line moving and causing complications opening the bolt snap?

I have actually used heat shrink tubing in stead. Cut it to size open the bolt snap and slip it around and over gate. Then shrink it down.

What time of cord are you using. Link to purchase?
