This song was recorded and then filmed in my home studio. All the recording, mixing, mastering, filming, editing and uploading I do by myself in my little home studio.

"Who Wants to Live Forever" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It is the sixth track on the album A Kind of Magic, which was released in June 1986, and was written by lead guitarist Brian May for the soundtrack to the film Highlander. Queen were backed up by an orchestra, with orchestrations by the co-composer of the film's score, Michael Kamen. The song peaked at No. 24 in the UK charts. In 1991 it was included in the band’s Greatest Hits II.
Since its release, the song has been covered by many artists. Seal performed a live version of the song at The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992. In 2014, Rolling Stone readers voted it their fifth favourite song by Queen.
The song is used to frame the scenes in the film where Connor MacLeod must endure his beloved wife Heather MacLeod growing old and dying while he, as an Immortal, remains forever young. (It was later used in the episodes "The Gathering", "Revenge is Sweet", "The Hunters", "Line of Fire", and "Leader of the Pack" of the Highlander television series).
Brian May wrote the song in the backseat of his car after seeing a 20-minute first cut of the scene of Heather's death.

I play the piano and do many arrangements myself, I’m in love with 80s and 90s rock. In Russia, I played with several bands. One of them is the best Led Zeppelin tribute band in Russia called "Plumbum Dreams". The other one is called "Back from the USSR", where we played Beatles songs in my own arrangements. We played in Liverpool, England almost every year on the Beatles week fest. My dad, Valeriy Yarushin is my bass player in this band. He's a legend of Russian folk-rock and his band “Ariel” was most popular in the 70s and still is now. I learned a lot from him.
In 2004, I won the “International Hopes of Europe” competition in Sochi, Russia along with the “Grand Prix” prize for singing I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston.

This is the most heart wrenching song I've ever heard, especially when taken in context where it appeared in Highlander as MacLead was watching his beloved Heather age and die. Excellent performance, Alyona. Bravo!

So far... this is the best female cover of this song... I have checked 10 different covers and all are not what I’m looking for. You seem to be the only one who understand the song. The first time I heard dont cry covered by Alyona on bilibili, i was deeply impressed. So I came to youtube, just wanted to enjoy other songs she covered. This afternoon, finishing my homework, I found this song. Also, hhh, Freddy is one of my favorite singers, so i enjoyed every second of this song. And thank u Alyona, my mom had cancer, as a college student, suddenly I lost my way of my life. Hearing the songs you sing, I can find a peace of my mind, and I have made up my mind to conquer the disease with my mom.
