"how can I do a better podcast" - look into the abyss of death and hell son!

Jordan finishes his very solemn and daunting advice.
Lex responds: .. oh, I was more talking about the seating arrangements, the lighting, the microphones, that type of thing. Any advice on that?

Voluntarily confront your suffering for a chance to heal. Profound idea and scary indeed.

"How can i do this podcast better"
Keep on doing it. Experience I guess, because it's been getting better with each conversation. Keep challenging yourself and others. You have interviewed people that many would never even tried to talk to. You also interview people everybody wants to hear from. My advice would be, just keep at it, and learn.

I can't speak for all things, as I have very little knowledge.

But for the few things I've had a real passion for, when I start to undergo serious struggle.

It is after this point that I start to feel like I am simply at the very small foothills of involvement, with a fraction of the effort and understanding of those that have been here and further.

And before I got to this point, in my day to day, when I'm not pushing, it's flat, and most of the time I barely appreciate how flat.

Only words, but so much possibility.

Dont forget to remember when you've gazed into the abyss long enough that you can go back into light

Gazing into the abyss forever just to be safe is just as pathological as hiding from it for the same reason

i remember watching the movie 'dancing in the darkness' from von trier and this movie struck me so bad. My family members died without history just with problems left behind. Jordan speaks harsh truth. Most of the time there is no happy ending but this life we have is better worthwhile.

I recently saw Peterson described in Rolling Stone as a "pseudo intellectual". I guess their writers are true intellectuals?

This is exactly correct, but to pull it off you must leave your ego at the door before you enter.

Pause longer to think and pronounce it just a little more, so that the whole world can see just how truly smart and great you are.

You are by far, one of the BEST interviewers of all times. Amazing. I hope one day to interview you. I have so many questions.

Everything. Pain. Love. Suffering. Leads back to gratification.

In order to be the best you can be voluntary suffering is necessary. Of course, you can always go down a different path.

Voluntary suffering makes gratification for simple pleasures overwhelming pleasurable and draws the highest levels of gratitude for an existent reality that most couldn’t tolerate.

Can someone explain the suffering? Like literal pain? Mental pain? What does the suffering consist of?

Lex: "is love the solution to chaos?"
JP: "well 1st we must measure nature of chaos to consider it a problem and agree that to "love", is to romanticize psychopathic behavior..eh? Well..So then it's like..well..THAT'S a dragon you must overcome the perilous flames of..once that's done and you've rescued your father..your dragon can be tamed and controlled in every sense of the imagination. Because if you allow even 1 dragon turd to defile your room, well then you inevitably come to the self-evident realization, that love doesn't exist inside a filthy room, where dragons come to vigorously defecate..and as time passes and the litter box slowly accumulates.. THAT'S when the Marxists will evict you from your land."

"How can I podcast better?"
"By putting a G-Series SSL compressor on a kick and blasting it on a dead mouse caught in a trap. Now that's pretty meta. But what is a dead mouse frankly speaking, eh? And can a dead mouse be a person? Can a dead mouse raise from the dead and become proficient in music from having listened to what you blasted at it while it was dead? Well I know a certain Canadian that went through that transformation. Go to the abyss! Hear a noise! Find a way to rise from death! And become a live mouse!"
