I love Herb and his love of engineering! You can feel his enthusiasm through the screen. My 3-year-old is very similarly minded which is why we were watching this video! Thanks for sharing!

Just got finished watching a “mini construction” video of a dam and was wondering if these old sawmills could’ve produced electricity as well as cutting lumber?

A beautiful piece of engineering, but to celebrate the logging industry in the US is like celebrating the progression towards total ecological collapse. Oh wait.... Less than 2% of old growth forests remain in the US. And Trump just opened up for more. Its extremely sad and people need a serious mindset change when it comes to sustainability and future generations.
