In this geometry help video, I discuss and use the Side Splitter Theorem, the Corollary to the Side Splitter Theorem, and the Triangle-Angle Bisector Theorem. Study Tip: As I explain the theorems and corollary, I use repetition to help you learn the relationships between the sides. I say and point to the sides that form the proportion. You should repeat these concepts to yourself several times. It is important to know your facts in Geometry.

Along with explaining the theorems and corollary, I model how to use each in a problem. Each problem involves finding the value of a variable.

What is my a= 3x b=5x c=2x-1 and d=x+3? After I cross multiply i got 3x^2+9x=10x^2-5x. Then I added 5x to both sides and got 3x^2+14x=10x^2. If all my numbers have x is in, what do I do then????
