Hi Melissa
Thank you for another informative video. I didn’t understand what you were saying about the hose on the mapp gas. What goes cold? 😵‍💫

Thankyou for sharing your knowledge. How hot does the mould need to be...or, rather, how do you know when it is hot enough? Hoping to avoid flying silver splats! 🤔

Great video. Where can you buy the "fire brick crucible holder" that you are using in your video?

Super helpful. Thanks Melissa! I am going to order the crucible holder from Craig Dabler too! :)

Hi Melissa
I’ve bought the hose for my map gas canister but it sits very unstable on my work surface. How do you safely support it so it doesn’t fall over?

Also, my very first ingot had a pitted dark spot in it which I have drilled out. Can I now melt this ingot down again?
Thank you for such great videos

I have a similar mold like yours and adjusted the mold to be a little narrower (i have a small rolling mill so i don't need a large cavity). For some reason whenever i pour, the metal just sits on top of the mold instead of flowing inside the cavity. I tried heating the mold well and making sure that the metal i pour is hot enough but for some reason i get the same effect. Now if i put the plates back to the way it was, now the metal flows inside (but what you get is a big upside down T shape ingot). Have you had the same experience? I don't know what I am doing wron

Hi Melissa
Do you oil the mold each time?
