All these “DIY” videos that been popping up in my feed sure do seem to assume I have all these power tools and knowledge about wood cutting and supporting lol

This guy is about as professional as you can get, first of all he has all the tools to get the job done and he is smart as can be you, you can tell he does a lot of wood work, this guy can start his own business if he hasn't already, I bet he could build custom cabinets or just about anything, great video! And one more thing, why in the world would anybody give this video a thumbs down, who would not like this video? People are just jealous, this guy explains everything in detail and he did an awesome job, people are just sad sometimes.

I would be so into having my own wood shop at home. I would actually love making my own home improvements. This is so cool! Now I just need a house 👁👄👁

honestly the biggest advice i got out of this is which plywood is best to buy if you plan on painting. I have been trying to find that info for SO long. wasn't even expecting it from this video either... so what a pleasant surprise. THANK YOU

He makes it sound so extremely easy, especially when you got all the tools and whistles. Nice job!

This is almost exactly what we sketched up for what we wanted to do for our bedroom closets! Thanks for the video, looking forward to the plans.

Thanks for the inspirational videos Brad, your upbeat attitude, tips and respect for the art of carpentry is why you're my favorite YouTuber. I'm actually remodeling my kitchen at the moment and building the cabinet from scratch as well as changing the countertops to a White Concrete countertop 😄. Thanks again.

I came across similar problem that you had on hutch upper, side pieces. I pocket screwed them to the top and filled the exposed pocket holes with precut wood dowels angled specifically for filling these holes - found at Home Depot. I sanded them down and you can’t see them after paint. Your method is also good. That wall hump is so typical of builder tract houses. Belt sanders are god send! Great job and video too.

Thanks for the tip on the plywood! I'm about to build a tv stand and usually just go with the nicer purebond stuff, but this is going to be painted.

It's easy when you are a carpenter and have every single woodworking tool known to man

I made few cabinets with "adjustable" shelves for my family, friends and clients and since they call me on regular basis I always try to sneak a peak if they move the shelves. No one has moved them, including me.
I use the same jig as you but I drill every second or third hole because it looks less like swiss cheese or mass produced furniture.
I love your vids and I learn quite some stuff from you. Cheers!

Occasionally I adjust my shelving.
Another great tutorial. Thank you

Hey Brad. Another great video! Would be great to see a video that explains how you go about spacing drawers in a cabinet such as this. When there are several drawers within a single cavity. I like the idea of creating that spacer but getting the height measurement for the spacer, that’s the trick. Thanks again!

Nice video! I purchased the plans and they are very well laid out and easy to follow. I can tell you put a lot of time into them. Having the plans makes it so much easier to jump into this project, rather than trying to figure it out as we go. Which is whet we were going to do before I found your video. Also it keeps from wasting wood and messing up when you have a clear plan.

I really appreciate seeing people actually use their safety gear! It's so rare on YouTube, and a good reminder that these tools can be quite dangerous, even if we're very familiar with them.

MDF is less expensive and has a very smooth surface. I am building built-in bookcases with it. For strength I glue to 1/2 inch panels together for a 1 inch shelf and sides. I have built bookcases like this in the past and it works really well. I love the idea of drawers in the closet. I fold most of my clothes anyway and it would give me far more storage that hanging! Thanks for the idea!

super video! I love that you show the things that didn't quite work out because that is 50% of woodworking.

Who’s watching this at at end of 2022 and is crying at the plywood prices compared to when this gentleman filmed this video.
