As someone who has apent far too much on 3x3's and now spends a ton on larger cubes, I have them both.
I have to say, the GAN 5x5 will not disappoint you as bad as their blunder of a 4x4 but if you're after a Hong killer or a 5x5 to end all 5x5's, brother, this ain't it.
It's a fairly solid cube that (depending on your budget) you may end up regretting or you may end up being satisfied with a thoroughly decent cube.
But when you compare it to the Hong. the Hong is better in every way, feels better, is more forgiving (as mentioned in vid) and after a couple of days of intense cubing, the Hong really shines, the GAN kinda stays the same.
Then you look at them both and think (£30 for that one that's much better and gets even better the more I use it. or that one that's £65 and feels no different than the day I got it.)
The you realise what a massively better puzzle the Hong is.
I personally think X-Man for QiYi is simply S tier!
