Well as you're asking there is indeed one feature I expected from this camera.

This feature was present in the original S1R camera:
it's focus bracketing + stacking in-camera. It was possible with original S1R to focus bracket and blend the images directly in-camera outputting a jpeg image.

Now due to this I expected, the heir, the S1R2 to be able to equalize at least, but to be superior and output a RAW, a DNG or a Tiff file...But nope not available in S1R2.

So why would I need such a feature:
well in a world using more and more AI, we all have become more lazy and very demanding to ease our own workflows.

So yes I'm a bit deceived to have to continue with focus stacking in Post Production with Photoshop... It does not undermine this new S1Rii by anh way. 😂
