Thanks so much for your Gettysburg 161 series. I love it. I’ve always had respect for what the soldiers sacrificed, but this video in particular painted a more vivid picture when showing the terrain features up close. I have an even deeper understanding of how terrible this attack was. Thanks for all you do. Great job by all!

Gary said could stand and talk for 5 hrs at the angle … wish he did absolutely love it …. You are all amazing particularly love how Sarah plays a bigger roll in ABT videos as the years go by … history telling often dominated by men love she’s bucking the trend

My ancestor, PVT John Warwick - Co H. 26th NC, survived the slugfest with the 24th Michigan on 01 JUL, rested on 02 JUL, and made the Pickett-Trimble- Pettigrew charge on 03 JUL....captured vicinity of the union line by the 12th NJ. Bravery and valor.

Thank you for this video. My g-g-grandfather was wounded fighting with the 16th Vermont during Pickett's Charge on July 3rd, 1863. It was so interesting to hear you talking about the Vermont troops.

Outstanding content for Gettysburg 161!

Wish I could be there on anniversary dates, but this is a close 2nd! In fact, I'm seeing aspects of the battle that I probably would not have seen had I been there, so ....

Great videos! You guys and gals are fantastic!

17:35 - Col Douds discussed the landscape here in one of your videos a few years ago, and after seeing it, I visited and walked that section of the field and that was when I really GOT what the confederate soldiers were up against. But that first AHA! was thanks to Doug's explanation of it. Thank you!

Even with it being well covered ground there is so much to ponder and learn about the clash of armies July 1 - 3 (and the lead up to the battle and the aftermath that cost Meade overall command.) Fantastic job as always by the ABT and associated experts who provide such illuminating content.

Great presentation. I lost my great great grandfather at Vicksburg in 1863. These presentations give voice to these men. Salute 🫡

Col. Doug Douds is exceptional. Love all the team but as a former soldier he talks about this is a soldier.
