I pulled up to a street bike meet on my MX4 at my local sonics last weekend. Literally everyone surrounded my bike and was asking about it and googling the Talaria. They all wanted it. No one cared about the street bikes. Told them I was going for a ride in the flood canals after the meet. This bike can go almost anywhere. Climbing hills is an easy feat with the instant torque. My favorite thing about the bike is the silence. No one knows you are there. I also installed a headlight switch and removed the rear light. I go invisible at night. I also keep it parked in my living room. It truly is a versatile vehicle.

Had mine for a year now. Warp9 pegs, bars, 21/18 warp9 wheels. Just so you know switching wheels does lessen your range but is totally worth it if you ride rocky mountainous trails like I do. I just hit 4000 miles! Mostly all trail riding! No problems with the bike!

At EbikeZilla, the cost of the MX-3 motor is more than the MX-4's. Why?...because the MX-3 motor can safely run 10, 000 RPM where the MX4 can only do 8, 000 rpm. YouTuber Stingy Rogers discovered this fact.

Oh...one more fact.
Talaria recently released their 2nd generation controller for the 2025 Sting R. It's easily identified from the 1st generation Sting R controllers by the inscribed words reading STING R. The first generation Sting R controller inscribed on the face simply read TALARIA.

The new 2025 Sting R controller has a 10% power gain over the 2023's R controller.

i am like you...just want to go on some trails, ride around on dirt, just experience all the stuff I did on a bicycle when I was younger...they have the MX4 for 3400 and the MX5 for 5 grand....would you recommend the newer model with some nicer upgrades to it over the MX 4 but also paying 1500 more???

I am a mountain biker looking to get into eBikes, but the pedal assist bikes are crazy $$ and not very light. I have a new carbon pedal mtb that is a banger, so I am thinking of springing for one of these. I see it going for $1350 USDA! I love GJ/Fruita for mtb riding. I live in OH, but have ridden a lot in CO. I don't know where I would ride it here off-road. OH has a lot of trail restrictions. For $1350, I'll find places to ride.
