I've always been n the minority with this opinion, but I believe the Preseason has a ton of value. 20% of rosters are made off how plyrs perform during those games. So i never understood the long ongoing narrative that less is more as it relates to exhibition games...

As Dan mentioned here in this interview, the first couple of regualar season games are generating more and more sloppy football year after year. And i couldnt agree more. Keep the # of preseason games at 3 and coaches need to start encouraging their starters to play more

Tony talked about Manning going 3-13 and historic INT numbers as a rookie. But that was pre full blown internet. Today The hype is real. As in really overdone. That’s just the 24/7 ravenous fan money to be made on hype headlines world we live in. The up side is these guys make a crap ton of money because of it. If I were CWs I’d just say the only thing that matters is what I think and my teammates think and to some extent what coaches think. That’s it. But I think in his particular case he’ll be fine. Because he does have that tremendous self belief and confidence. And if he does struggle in his first season you’ll still see enough throws and moments where it’s like oh hell yeah this guy has got it. And he’ll be doing it with his arm not his legs.
