Hey guys, welcome back to the channel and in this video we are going to see the working of traceroute command.
Traceroute is the command which traces the path of an IP packet over the network, lets see whats happening behind the scene and how it makes use of the udp port even being a layer 3 protocol.

There are 3 types of traceroute
- UDP
- ICMP
- TCP
Udp is default usage of traceroute

May I pls ask why do we use -n? Does this do any good? Coz I have seen a lot of tutorial video, they all do so, but none of them explained why.
