I think the GT-One road version is the best looking Japanese car ever. I have actually seen a GT-One in real life. Its actually surprisingly small really.

You know what I mostly do in this game? I watch the "Like The Wind" competition and if the view is on normal and the GT-ONE is in there i will watch it, because that is the only car that wins. :D

They had to make at least 2 road versions because of the car class it was entering. It's pretty much exactly the same as the race car, but with road legal tires, a catalytic converter to meet emission standards, and slightly less powerful.

@rvind92g Actually the Toyota team left the road car the same as the race car since they knew they werent going to sell it, the body is the same so downforce is the same, adding insulation and airbags to the car would add about 50 or so kg to the car(remember its 900 kg) but they never did that. it also had about 600 HP too, so thats 700 HP per tonne vs 500 per tonne with the Veyron(at over 1700 kg). You tune that ALREADY FAST car and you get 1000 HP per tonne, faster than any road car on GT5

I wish they would have brought this over to GT4 and GT5.
I really don't understand why Mr. Yamauchi would take that particular car out. I mean, he decided to implement the R390 GT1 Road Car into GT4 AND GT5, alongside the race version. Maybe he had a run-in with someone from Toyota that asked him not to include the car in future titles.
I would have loved to see this in GT5, just to piss off hosts in online lobbies that demend you use a road car or get kicked, and to mess with Veyrons as well.

@rvind92g I disagree with your statement about the GT-ONE Road Car not being as fast as the Racer. It's the same exact car, on the game and in real life, as it's Racer counterpart, just more weight. It was made that way intentionally to exploit the lack of rules concerning such cars during the GT1 97-98 era, before the rules were changed and forced the car to become a GTP in 1999.

It'd be great in"Street Cars" lobbies online. Ppl abusing LFA's and 458 Italias PP ratings would be butthurt.

@YTPAreTheBestVidzEvr I mean the road car is slightly heavier and the aerodynamics are slightly lesser to the race car version in real life. Can't remember how it was in the game though, but I do remember I had both and the race car was faster. If you ask me, yeah they should include the Toyota GT-One road car, Mercedes CLK-GTR road car, Porsche 911 GT1 streetversion. This car will definitely be faster than the 458, F1, Enzo and so on but the mods are going to be limited so other may catch up.

@rvind92g EA owns the rights to use Porsche in their games. Polyphony Digital can't use them without getting sued or having GT5 sales being blocked.. Turn 10 cannot use Porsches in their future endeavors, so you will not see them in Forza 4...no sub-license was reached w/EA for that 2 happen.

And 2 anyone reading...RUF is in the game. By all means IT IS NOT A PORSCHE RIPOFF. It's no different than what Saleen does w/Mustangs. or Henessey does w/Vipers. Enjoy them...they're great cars IRL.

i think there are two races you can win foor the road version oof the toyaota gt. win the tokyo r246 100 lap endurance race ( i used the rx7 lm race car won i the series race called dream car championship in the amatuer league, but i forgot the other race.

@brandhini02 Race the gt dream car series in amateur league. You got to race the series not the individual races. Hint save your gave before the last race. That way you can keep trying if you don't get it.
