The 6th of eight classes from my twelve class Kabbalah course at the Philosophical Research Society in the 1980s. Unfortunately four of the classes did not survive. Arthur Johnson and I each read a poem we've written.

Art was a dear friend and mentor. He played guitar for Lena Horne, Tim Buckley, Papa John Creach, The Association, Barbra Streisand, Pat Boone and many other musical greats. He was also Manly P. Hall's audio engineer and occasional driver.

Recorded by Arthur Johnson.
Thank you to Lois E for keeping the cassette tapes and transferring them.

I’m so grateful that 8 lecture’s survived. It’s a joy to listen to them as the content is timeless and your presentation of it is so engaging.

From this lecture I interpreted maya as meaning anything that distracts us from our true purpose. This will be another one that I listen to many more times. Thank you, Ronnie.

"Fairy-tales are more powerful /important than philosophy" - I recently came across a channel called The Literary Arts, and a talk about Novalis and magical realism, that's where the quote is from. It's very much along the same lines as your lecture. Fascinating stuff, and dare I say- a lot more FUN to live by than philosophical debates. I can't imagine creating any art without a relationship to the non-rational . Btw.thanks for bringing the Orphic Hymns and through them Sekmeth into my life in your other videos ! They do work like a charm, pun intended.
