Human Capital Index Launched at the 2018 World Bank-IMF Annual Meetings

At the 2018 World Bank Annual Meetings in Bali, Indonesia, President Jim Yong Kim announced the launch of the Human Capital Index. The Index is a measure of countries' outcomes in education, health, and skills of their people. It is a tool to prompt governments to make the investments in their people that will lead to greater growth and prosperity.
