There is no doubt that Hamas committed mass murder against the Israeli's in their recent breakout from their prison in Gaza. This was terrible. I have often thought about the phrase "there can be no peace until Palestinians are free". At first, I thought this was just a phrase. But then on deep reflection, I understood its meaning. From a Palestinian view, they have been brutalised and murdered with impunity by the Israeli state over decades. This does not mean that Israeli's and Jews have not suffered too. They have. But the keys to the prison are not controlled by the Palestinians. Palestinians have be be given the right to freedom, to their own freedom, and it is time that that they are freed from the coercive violence that they are subject to on a daily basis. Israel, please please do the right thing and let them live and breathe freedom. They can no longer be any moral argument for the subjugation of a whole people.
