I saw Barbarian in theaters - twice actually - and both times I was completely chilled by this score! Hearing it with surround speakers was an unnerving experience! This score perfectly embodies a sense of darkness, dread, and doom

This is one of my favourite scores I've ever heard, it captures the exact feeling that the story is trying to convey. The sounds they use as ambience almost matches the machine whirring and humming that you'd hear if you were locked in a basement

God when I watched this in theaters it absolutely fuckin SCARED ME, it probably took over the place of nope being my favorite horror movie of the year. The score helped a lot with bringing fear into me

Maybe that's because I'm a creative musical brain myself, I see the shoe in pink (😅 if you know what I'm talking about). I also loved the score for the movie Sinister. Which this reminded me of a little bit but this was even better. Such an atmospheric tune that PERFECTLY fits the ominous, claustrophobic tone of the 👍
