I-Team: Judges fear for safety after Nevada county allows guns in courthouse

Nye County commissioners voted in December to allow guns in most parts of the county’s courthouses, but the judges, who decide the fates of their neighbors, tell the I-Team that decision is asking for trouble.

These Commissioners are all Heartless and Unethical. How dare they hold their positions and pass this. What Court House does not have a metal detector during in the year 2022? Unheard of and if something happens they personally should be held responsible.

The Elko County courthouse has a single entrance with metal detectors, with deputies conducting security checks of everyone entering. No weapons, not even knives, are allowed inside. No one has complained about it.
