I could not understand the layout in Hitfilm 1 and 2, maybe because I was so used to Visionlab =) But this layout looks so much easier and I plan on buying it. As far as the trial version, is it true that you can only export to Youtube and has that been changed? Hopefully so, but if still the same, whats the max size you can export it to on youtube? Please do not say 720x480 or smaller lol.

I am impressed to see slowly but steadily you guys are giving adobe a run for their money. They took a very bad decision by forcing the web subscription to users. Someone needed to step up and break the monopoly. On the vfx side we now have you guys. Not quite there yet but certainly on the right track. On the image side of things DxO is kicking. I just got their Photo Suite V10 and its great. Now just a couple months of saving up and you'll have a new member in the Hitfilm family. Can't wait.

I love Hitfilm and it's compatibility with Vegas. Two POWERhouse programs that don't get the credit that they deserve. I dream of a future wherein Hitfilm and Vegas are respected as much as Premier and AE.

I plan on purchasing this soon. Even if this was worse than After Effects (which it is most definitely not) I would still choose this because Adobe's payment system is so stupid. I'm surprised more people don't use this over After Effects.

I've been working in After Effects + Sony Vegas for 4+ years, I've always imagined it was possible to essentially combine the two.  You guys seem to really have something here.  Adobe is what I'm experienced with; switching to something else isn't an easy task.  However, Adobe's Creative Cloud is not something that sits well with alot of us.  I'm currently using AE CS6, I won't upgrade to CC to pay $50/month for the rest of my life.  That payment model is garbage and Adobe knows it. They have us by the balls with it. You guys may just find yourself with more customers than you know what to do with soon enough if Adobe does anything too stupid. I'll be keeping a close eye on HitFilm for sure!

I just recently switched from FCP to Adobe Premiere but dang, HitFilm looks really nice to work with! I'm going to have to download the demo!

I bought Hitfilm and hitfilm 2 and have yet to use it for any project, it's just too complicated, I've watched tutorials but I get lost after the first few steps, talking about making proxys, what is proxys? Moving between tabs for composit shots/ cameras putting effects on various layers, I have no idea what he is doing and he doesn't explain it or why he does it, the whole layout is completely non intuitive coming from sony vegas, maybe people coming from after effects have an easier time.

Mark - we've just double-checked the zip and it worked fine for us, so it could be that the zip didn't download correctly for you. Re-downloading it will hopefully fix it.

Axel,   good work on the tutorial as always.  Looking forward to working on Season 2 of my cooking series!  which thanks to Hitfilm 2 ultimate allowed me to create some interesting FX for our futuristic scenes. (you need to watch it to get what I'm on about, but the main Chef is called the The Cookinator if that gives you an idea)  I now think my show is about to be come less about cooking and more about fx and high packed actions scenes lol

Pretty nice! But still, I wonder if stabilize process could be easier and quicker in this version. Could you make a tutorial to explain completly how stabilize can work with this version? =) thanks!
