Prelude IV Homage to the Brazilian Indian by Villa Lobos

The hairline crack in the top looks MUCH worse than it really is, and it is just on the surface - I can't feel it underneath. Still searching for the best strings for this guitar and my technique.

Big sound from that guitar. It seems an old love affair has sprouted new growth. Excellent acquisition.

I don’t know if that guitar is french polished or finished in nitrocellulose. In either case, if the crack is not through the face, it should be a pretty straight forward fix by a qualified luthier. A few drops of finish with some judicious polishing should stabilize it. Personally, if it isn’t spreading or buzzing, I wouldn’t be that concerned. It sounds beautifully “cavernous” as is.
(Just don’t spill a “pint” on it.”✌️🥴🍺)
