Deciphering Vintage Soul: Part One

When I saw Cathe Holden's new fabric line, Vintage Soul, I fell instantly in love! As a crocheter and a lover of all things miniature and vintage, I want to recreate each of the motifs in real life. I don't want to look up any patterns, as I want to challenge myself to decipher each pattern just from the printed fabric.
I start with Potholder Number One, of my choosing, because it's the color I have the most of on hand at the time (on a plane!), but I quickly run out of thread!
I'll be recording this as a series as I create each one of these delicate potholders!
