The way you taught this topic is remarkable. If you had my english teacher in my school days than I could have better results in English grammar. Thank you for these topics, you are awesome!

I love watching your videos on grammar and punctuation; all your videos are explained very clearly. No confusion about the topic.

Love how you always give us quizzes to test our understanding. To see if we learned anything.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Rebecca for the lesson! It's easy to understand and quite helpful to apply.
Thanks to the lesson, I first learned that quantities of time, money and distance was considered to be a single subject. For example, five miles is not a long distance.

1.) remains is plural so "his remains are..."
2.) My physical strength and mental strength ARE

although i'd say "my physical and mental strength are ..." as it sounds more natural

Hello Rebecca. Thanks for such a supportive resource. It's very clear in that must learners whom English is the second language can build on that. It has expanded my thinking, and I'll recommend to some of my friends. Keep it up.

"There" is not a If a sentence starts with "There' or "Here", "There or Here" can never be subjects. The subject is at the end of the sentence right after the verb. We can write the sentence in reverse form.

ex. There is a book. = The book is there.
Here are your books. = Your books are here.
