For those who couldn't do it try putting it on open DNS instead of current one then allow JavaScript it worked for me

Still not working? It may be an issue with your sim card provider. Log into your mobile phone account and search for any age restrictions activated on your account. I just solved my problem with O2 UK - a law was recently passed here in The UK restricting all new sims unless told otherwise.

it's different type of safe browsing. The settings u are trying to fix is from Google and the one u click is a Safe Browsing feature from Chrome. It's totally different, the google one prevent you from seeing a sexual when u search, but the chrome one prevent u from a virus, ad, tracking, etc. So this tutorial is very misleading and dangerous

If this didn't work for you change Ur DNS to custom and make sure you pick the one by cloudfare if it shows it in google

Some Ad filter extensions force safe lock on like, for example, A9 Web Protection which I use that forces safe lock on Google Chrome on my computer, but not on my phone... weird. Open the A9 settings and go to Advance tab and turn off "force safe lock"

Switching to another DNS or switching to cellular data fixes it for me

you can unblurr it in ur safari settings and then go into safe search and press unblur even if you have administrator things it still works

Now this is really weird ... following instructions in this video I first changed google chrome settings on my laptop and YES it unlocks SafeSearch in chrome on my laptop. The very same process in chrome on my xiaomi poco android phone does NOT unlock SafeSearch. Also weird, if I switch to data instead of wifi, SafeSearch goes off on my Poco phone. With wifi ON (same wifi I use for my laptop and it worked) then SafeSearch back to locked on my Poco phone. Crazy ... If anybody has a clue please share ...
