HOW TO REPLACE DJi MAVIC Pro ESC Board

In this video, I will show you how to replace the ESC board on your DJI Mavic Pro drone. The ESC board is responsible for controlling the speed and direction of the motors, and it can get damaged by crashes or water exposure. Replacing the ESC board can restore the performance and stability of your drone.

To replace the ESC board, you will need the following tools and parts:

- A Phillips screwdriver
- A pair of tweezers
- A new ESC board for DJI Mavic Pro (you can buy it online or from a DJI authorized dealer)

The steps are as follows:

1. Turn off your drone and remove the battery and propellers.
2. Remove the 14 screws that secure the top shell of the drone using the Phillips screwdriver.
3. Carefully lift up the top shell and disconnect the two ribbon cables that connect it to the main board.
4. Locate the ESC board on the right side of the main board. It has four wires that connect to each motor.
5. Disconnect the four wires from the ESC board using the tweezers. Be gentle and avoid pulling on the wires.
6. Remove the two screws that secure the ESC board to the main board using the Phillips screwdriver.
7. Lift up and remove the old ESC board from the drone.
8. Place the new ESC board on the same position and align it with the screw holes.
9. Secure it with the two screws using the Phillips screwdriver.
10. Reconnect the four wires to the new ESC board using the tweezers. Make sure they are in the correct order: black, white, yellow, red (from left to right).
11. Reconnect the two ribbon cables to the main board and lower down the top shell.
12. Secure it with the 14 screws using the Phillips screwdriver.
13. Reinstall the battery and propellers, and turn on your drone.

I have a crashed Mavic Pro and another whose screen freezes 200m away. Sent the frozen one to DJI who wanted $400 to replace the Board. Got it back and want to try swapping the boards from the crashed into the frozen. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your video on this!

Hello. I will crashed after that my drone die, no any lights after boot and all engines beeping bi 2 sec interval. I replaced by new ESC board that, and yesss the lights come backs, motors stop the beeping, but rear center light start on boot up blinking, green, yellow, green, yellow, green and finished by RED. All next time i see only red light, and have only one problem, ESC status error. Turn off aircraft and restart. I try IMU calibrate, and its finish grate without issues, then i tryed all firmwares install by assistant 2, by no issues to finish, but still the problem is same. RC error show ESC status error, and rear light stay RED. What i need to do next? Thanks

Hello, Frog! My Mavic is with an error 1112. I can't activate it to fly. Suport DJi said he can't activate it because they reported it as a transport robbery, I was tricked by a salesman, I lost my money. Do you think if I change the logic board this problem can be solved? Thank you!

sorry but when I see the welds you are doing, I will not give you my drone to repair ! the soldering iron is not adapted, not hot enough, too long contact for nothing, a bad weld has a good chance of causing a crash
