Official HD remastered music video for “I Love Saturday” by Erasure.

The new 2CD expanded edition of ‘I Say I Say I Say’ is out now!

‘I Love Saturday’ was the third single taken from Erasure’s Number 1 album ‘I Say I Say I Say’, produced by Martyn Ware of the Human League and Heaven 17.
Originally released in November 1994, the single reached number 20 in the UK charts.

The video was directed by Caz Gorham & Frances Dickenson, who also filmed Erasure ‘Live At The Royal Albert Hall’ in 2007.

I loved and love Erasure, but shocked I missed this one, actually never heard it and here I thought I heard and knew every one of their songs. Someone just recommended for me and of course, another great song. Erasure couldn't do bad song even if they tried. Great sound and voice. Glad I was pointed to this song.

In 1994 I travelled to Edinburgh for a conference. When I arrived to the Central Station, I walked toward the city and bumped into a record shop, where this song was played. I did not know Erasure before, so I asked the shop assistant that what this song was. He pointed to the CD case standing on the counter. I said: I take one. 😀

Have to rate I Say I Say I Say as one of my favourite Erasure albums. I think there's a certain mystical charm about the record that they hadn't captured before or indeed on anything they've done since. Great videos, artwork and remixes too.
