How to create Interactive Score Boards in PowerPoint - VBA Tutorial

Did you know that we can make interactive PowerPoint Presentations where we can have scoreboards and keep points? In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how we can make scoreboards in PowerPoint using VBA Codes in less than four minutes. No animations are involved; you can increase or decrease the number on the scoreboard by just clicking buttons!

For those who are having trouble making the counter work:

If your code sets the counter's slides from 1 to 30, the counter shape needs to be present on all slides 1-30 for it to work. If your counter is first placed on slide 4, for example, and not on any of the slides before it (1-3) then it will not run properly. In this example, you would need to switch it from 1 to 30 to 4 to 30 for it to work. After making the change, it will not work automatically. Make sure to save the presentation and then close and open it again to see the results.

we write: for i = 13 to 13 'Change Slide Range???

Hi! This tutorial was helpful, thank you! Everything's working perfectly, but the only issue is, I don't want all of the slides in my presentation to have the counters. So, how do I change the code to select only specific slides (e.g., 3, 5, 7, 9, etc.), not a range of slides (e.g., 2-52)? Thank you in advance!

I used this, and while the adding and subtracting of points do work on every slide (4 through 30 in my case), the display of those points only works properly on slide 4. On every other slide, clicking the + or - will add or subtract the running score, but only slide 4 will display that running score.

I'm creating a new slide in an already existing powerpoint (ppt format), following your steps, enabling macros, and saving it as a pptm file, and it's not working. It's slide 82-83. I think I've got everything done correctly.

If I go Alt+F8, I can Run the macro "counter1Add" and it works. But when I click on the shape in Presentation mode, it does nothing.
