Alright, 2022 user here. This really did work, please give it a try. I was skeptical at first because of the view count, but this is actually legit. I deleted both of the folders, redownloaded the app, and everything worked perfectly. Thank you tech how, this helped me a lot.

And no, im not a bot. Im an actual person that actually did this and it REALLY worked.

For those, who still have an issue with installing - you can try to check "Startup" folder in Task Manager. If there still locates Discord - right click on it, find an .exe file and delete it. I've done all this helpful man said to do, but in my case exactly this little thing helped with the problem.
