As you might know from my „How I make a buying decision“ video: Rather than just looking at the pros, I like to evaluate the cons or flaws of an item and then evaluate if I can live with them. That is why in my video reviews I concentrate more on the cons of an item rather than going over all the features. Therefore everything shown is just a fraction of all the points that go into the verdict and score of an item.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUICKLOOK AND A REVIEW:

A Quicklook usually covers pre-production units or items that I only used for a short period of time. While Reviews cover final items that I have reviewed intensively.

Too many quirks for me, personally, even as just a travel pouch for essentials. If it were x-pac and orientated landscape, it'd be something that would catch my eye. The constant lint and hair on it would drive me mad.

I backed this on kickstarter and was excited to get. When I got it I hated every single thing about it. The most uncomfortable bag I’ve ever had. I gifted it. I’ve never disliked a bag as much as this one.

A bit too „man-purse-y“ for me, but looks quite versatile.

Before corona, my travel „computer“ was an iPad mini and my go to bag for the described use case was the Peak Design Everyday Sling 5L that fit the iPad and everything else I didn’t want to throw in the overhead compartment.

The sling is still around but the iPad got larger (and doesn’t fit anymore 😉), so the decision between my smaller slings and the Peak Design depends on what I want to bring.

First two negatives are huge negatives. Always catching dust and lint is a big NO for me, and not being able to open it properly while wearing it is another huge NO.

It takes a certain level of self-esteem to wear one of these man purses, i think. Personally not my kinda thing. Just come into the whole sling thing, I just got a Fjällräven Ulvö large and it totally rocks! Very lowkey looks and a simple but effective build. No too technical, which IMO adds to the coolness factor.

Far from beating Wandrd Roam 9l. Design is interesting but not practical at all.
