You Can Now Use Debit and Credit Cards on the TTC!!!

The day we have all been waiting for! You can now pay for your TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) fare using a tap Debit or Credit Card! You no longer need to use a Presto Card. You will be charged the Adult Presto Fare when you tap. To get any discounts you still need a Presto Card. You can only buy 1 ticket per card - so each person in your family would need a card to tap. You are eligible for the 2 hour transfer and if a fare inspector comes you would tap the card you used to pay as proof of payment. Be sure to check with your bank to see if you have Tap limits - you don't want a huge fee on your bank statement at the end of the month.
