Hello, at minute 3:37 is the equation for alpha correct? Because in the numerical example you don't use the exponent of Pwz. Thank you!

Quick question how does the robot controller choose the best robot configuration (elbow up or elbow down etc)? does it compute all configurations and check the fastest one to execute (if the priority is speed for example) ? in other words what is the preference of choosing one configuration over an other?
