I've got a pair of VDE NWS pliers that have a little slot for the cable to sit into so when you squeeze them closed you don't end up with it going off to one side.
I love my German tools as I think there the best personally. The very first screwdrivers I bought were 4 CK and out of the 4, every sparky uses a terminal and the PZ2 the most.

Putting the torque values on a sticker that goes inside the box is so simple yet seemingly beyond some manufacturers (Electrium, I'm looking at you, even though I still fit your boards for their technical quality)

Is it OK to use the earth conductor as a cable sheath ripcord ?

Как я рад, что я в России и у нас есть ГОСТы и ПУЭ на сборку щитов. А кабель можно было сразу выбрать с изолированной заземляющей жилой

Could you show a board being replaced in a cupboard under the stairs with limited headroom? Ta👍

you brits' breaker panels are so cute and little... and the US doesn't allow us to run all the cables through one big hole any more.

I’m from the US and I’m curious why is it that it’s required to insulate the grounding conductor? BTW, love the short videos, always entertaining.

If you are required to sleeve/insulate the grounding conductor before termination, why not get cabling that has it already insulated? Or is this not available in the UK?

Wouldn't it be nice of you had a cable that the earth wire was insulated from the factory?

All well and good untill it’s 4:30 on a Friday and the rcbo won’t turn back on and u need a replacement…

Nice job. Though I don't understand why folding the wire in both the board and in outlets is a practice, it seems like the connection would get weaker. For example, you screw down the screw and the fold opens with one part of the fold on each side of the screw. Not in this case obviously, but there are many electricians. If it's designed to fold then it's just crappy design in my opinion.

The tool you used to strip the cables in the DB what is it called? Thanks

I know you guys have to sleeve all your bond conductors since you guys have ground fault protection on everything. So why don’t they just make you guys cabling with an insulated bond?

Why is it some cables & flex come with sheathing on the earth, whilst twin & earth needs those annoyingly oversized lengths of earth sleeving cutting & sliding on? And making gripping it to push into the terminal way more difficult than it should be.

Don’t you just love it when you got a cheep board and you have a call out .RCD or RCBo failed. First thing ring your wholesalers. Oh never heard of it . We can probably get one but it won’t be quick and it’s going to cost you .
Hope it’s more reliable than those Chint Boards . They are so bad I normally just change them

Must be nice when you got new cables going in, always changing old boards with cables that are always too short
