Very wonderful to see Constance McCashin on Tattletales. But you got to remember that "Things on a Newsstand" category in the Winner's Circle on Pyramid that was her Achilles heel.

This might have been Carol Wayne's last game show appearance.

This marked the final weeks of "Tattletales" near two and a half year run on CBS, as Bert Convy and his CBS Daytime game show got the pink slip on June 1, 1984, as "Body Language" with Tom Kennedy was replacing "Tattletales" in the same 4 Eastern/3 Central and Pacific/2 Mountain (in most markets) time slot on CBS. And most TV market CBS affiliates aired "Tattletales" on a one-day delay in order to air the entire CBS Daytime lineup, and others were not carriers of "Tattletales" when it aired. After "Tattletales" departed the CBS Daytime schedule, Bert Convy was not seen again for almost 4 months, until "Super Password" on NBC which premiered September 24, 1984, and ran four and a half years until its March 24, 1989 series finale, which was his last game show Mark Goodson Productions produces, and had a longer run than his 4 year run on "Tattletales" from 1974 to 1978 on CBS.

Bert Convey was the best on Tattle Tales and after Alan Luden passed the best there on Password Plus. He made both shows funny.

Carol Wayne and Pat McCormick were never a real couple. There were lots of fake couples on this show throughout the years. Still a great show. The biggest joke was when Dick Sergent was on with a woman from Match game in the mid 1970's.
