Mark Groubert is a national treasure for not only his storytelling ability, but the accuracy of the collaboration of historical facts and his recall thereof. Thank God for books and brains…..for now.

Great stories. Laughed throughout Marks stories about Liddy. So sad that our government is full of these brilliant crooks.

Liddy's son Thomas is a lawyer for Maricopa County, AZ and represented them in Trump inc vs Hobbs and again in Lake vs Hobbs.

I'm so glad y'all are telling these stories. Our kids have no idea. My 18 year old daughter listened to you Jim Garrison episode. She had previously watched Oliver Stones JFK movie. She wrote an essay on Jim Garrison for a JFK scholarship program that required an essay on an elected official since 1917. After your episode, she decided to do Jim Garrison. Y'all are making a difference!!!

This show has the right guy at the right time. BIG Thank you from a subscriber. The episode on G Gordon Liddy was great. So many aspects, once illuminated, connect the dots.

One angle needs explored further, so here is one for next Free-Form or wherever it fits:

The Watergate burglars left a trail of clues so obvious, it begs the question: Were they out to get caught and set Nixon up for the fall. Just like the BS with the white tape? Seriously? This screams 'Catch me! Catch me!'

I was hired by the family to play the Bagpipes at G. Gordon's funeral last year in Poughkeepsie, NY...this episode was very enlightening.

I have vague memories of these shenanigans but I’m English so it was all filtered through the media. This has been fascinating and hilariously funny. I love these podcasts they’re no holds barred informative, jaw dropping crazy, and thoroughly entertaining. I was late finding you but I’m catching up. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

When I first started watching this channel I was just lukewarm at first but I kept coming back and watching a bit here and there before bed. It has grown on me to the point watch an entire video daily from start to finish.

It was the LBJ videos that got me hooked, but videos like this that keep me addicted. I will need rehab if this channel stops producing content. The good news is I have many more to watch

you guys should do a program on Liddy's partner E. Howard Hunt. The guy seemed to be involved in everything from clandestine operations in WW2, toppling governments in South America, heading up the Bay of Pigs, Watergate, his wife dying mysteriously in a plane crash and even being accused in the Kennedy assassination. His book "American Spy" that he wrote in the early 2000s before his death was very interesting.

The villain “Clarence Beeks” in Eddie Murphy’s and Dan Akroyd Trading Places is a character based on G. Gordon Liddy. There is a scene in the train where Beeks is seen reading Liddy’s biography “WILL”. Liddy was the first guy I heard that when talking about the US debt never used the word Billion. For instance instead of saying 3 Billion he would say “3 Thousand Million” and so on. That would drive the message of the enormous amount of money represented by what a Billion is.
I remember Liddy saying he was stationed to the Indianapolis FBI field office. Also Liddy hated John Dean and used to call him all kinds of “non masculine names”.

Listening to Mark is like taking an acid trip. The rabbit hole goes everywhere and the meaning is illusory.
