I’m Hispanic, I work at a Taiwanese restaurant, some people mistake me for Asian, maybe it’s because I got my mother’s looks, I take that as a compliment and politely inform my guests that I unfortunately do not speak mandarin but I’m very flattered. Blaire is right, you get called what you appear, I don’t wear fox tails or rainbow polish, I have no desire to stand out or let my undiagnosed mental health issues become untreated, we as a society can’t accept that their are 1957201 different genders and we should be ok with that, it’s just cartering to those who suffer from mental health issues and saying they don’t need to seek help, absolutely not. When i get called "sir" by a stranger, i simply say, i'm not a sir, my name is jessica. And 9 times out 10 they say sorry, and i say it's ok, you did'nt know i'm kind of a half breed anyway, and i laugh. Try and aproach this without anger. ❤😊

Weird comment here… even though I know Blair is trans, I’ve never really perceived her that way because she passes so well i’ve showed so many friends and family her videos and they never even guess it and are shocked when I tell them! Her efforts payed off so well and she’s genuinely so beautiful and hilarious asf!!! what an awesome person!

I once went to an LGBT youth club and people there basically went up in arms against me and acted as if I committed murder because I accidentally dead named 1 of the people (She was a trans girl but still had her old male name on her Snapchat and other social media accounts) The girl I accidentally called by her dead name said it was okay and understood it was accidental and just laughed

Yeah needless to say I left after that (Plus they were all snowflakes too who couldn't handle a joke lmao)

Expecting people to respect your chosen pronouns is like expecting people to participate in your religion because it validates your identity as a Christian. You can't force your worldview onto others. It's so exhausting. I'm legitimately amazed at the way people are behaving.
