Newer Laptop may not have a VGA or HDMI port. If both of your Laptop does not have VGA /HDMI port or you do not have any Monitor, Smart TV etc. Then you need to do this .It will help to extend Laptop Screen to your old laptop.

Man! Thank you so much! It worked here. I was using the spacedesk with my wifi network but it was a little laggy sometimes. Now it's perfect! My old notebook is my second monitor!

For info: the viewer software says Windows 7, but it also works on Windows 10. Every interface in this video is a bit dated, but it still works the same.
Good use for an old laptop!

thank you, I have been struggling with finding a way to use my laptop as a secondary screen for my desktop computer, this works perfectly. Everyone else on the internet said to use windows 10 miracast but that only works wirelessly and is way too laggy. This was very helpful

If primary machine is already connected ton internet with rj45 cable, can we connect to the secondary machine with usb to ethernet adapter and have similar results ? Or even better, can we connect the 2 machines with usb-c to usb-c ? That would be so helpful. Best.
